What this check can and can't tell you
It reads the token's contract and on-chain data through GoPlus Security. It catches the common traps, not every scam.
- What is a honeypot?
- A token you can buy but not sell. The price chart only goes up because nobody can get out. It is one of the most common scams on new tokens.
- Where do I find the contract address?
- On the project's official website, CoinGecko or the exchange page. Never copy it from a Telegram message or a DM: scammers post fake copies of real tokens.
- No red flags means it's safe?
- No. A clean contract can still have a team that sells its coins, a fake website or a price that collapses. Only put in money you can afford to lose.
- Do you store what I check?
- No. We pass the address to GoPlus and cache the result for 10 minutes so repeat checks are fast.
