Before you try it
- Is this free money?
- Rarely. Gaps exist because the two sides often need different payment methods, have high minimums, or are limited to verified or experienced traders. Read both ads' conditions before you trade.
- What are the risks?
- Banks can freeze accounts that move money for many strangers, the price can change while you wait for a payment, and some buyers try chargebacks or fake payment screenshots. Small, careful trades with trusted counterparties are safest.
- Why do gaps look so different between currencies?
- Busy markets such as INR or NGN have many sellers, so prices sit close together. Thin markets have few ads, so a single merchant can set an unusual price.
