How to read it
- What is correlation?
- 1 means the stock moved in the same direction as Bitcoin on almost every day, 0 means no link, and a negative number means it tended to move the other way.
- What is beta?
- How big the stock's moves were compared with Bitcoin's. A beta of 0.5 means that on a day Bitcoin rose 10%, the stock typically rose about 5%. Bitcoin ETFs sit close to 1.
- Why only trading days?
- Stocks trade Monday to Friday; Bitcoin trades every day. We compare the days both traded.
