What is diversification?
Diversification means spreading your money across different investments, so one failure does less damage.
It works best when the investments do not all move together. Owning ten coins is less diversified than it looks, because coins often rise and fall together. It reduces risk from any single holding but cannot protect you from a fall in the whole market.
